October 2014 Employee Spotlight

We are proud to shine the spotlight on Thomas Leal, a Centris Customer Service Representative for more than 2 1/2 years.

Thomas works on one of the most difficult accounts we have – an alarm monitoring company. Centris receives updates from the client on a daily basis so changes are varied and constant. But Thomas is one of the most knowledgeable agents we have because he has dealt with just about every issue – from applications to troubleshooting to permits to basic and complicated questions. We asked him to wear a superhero cape, but he says it got in the way of using his computer.

He would be the first to tell you: no matter what you do, do your best – whether you’re taking a call, sweeping a floor or playing in a basketball tournament. Thomas lives by that motto on a daily basis; whether he’s at work or home.

He is a single dad of two kids and they are his motivation every day, in every way. His future career goals include possibly moving into a Supervisor role here at Centris and going to college. Outside of work, he’s an avid runner and basketball player. But nothing compares to his favorite activity which is hanging out with his kiddos.

Thomas exemplifies what Centris is all about. He’s the ultimate team player and sees the best in his co-workers, managers and the company.

If you happen to speak to Thomas on a call, be sure and mention the movies “300” and “Troy.” These are at the top of his list and if you like them too, he will likely “friend” you on Facebook and put you on his Christmas card list.
